I build things. Sometimes websites. Sometimes furniture. Always with purpose.

Hi. I’m Omar.

If you’re here, you probably want to know who's behind the projects, the planning, and the build. I’ve always enjoyed making things—from websites to custom PCs to woodworking projects. That instinct to create led me into a career where I help shape digital experiences that actually work for the people using them.

I started in web development and gradually moved into strategy, UX, and accessibility. These days I work as a Digital Product Owner, helping cross-functional teams align, plan, and deliver. I care a lot about usability, especially ADA compliance. The internet should be for everyone—full stop—and I’ve spent much of my career pushing teams and platforms to live up to that.

Outside of the 9-to-5, I’ve volunteered at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, coaching students on building accessible, effective websites and digital strategies for nonprofits. I like sharing what I’ve learned, and I believe the web is better when more people understand how to build it.

I also watch far too many bad horror movies (mostly from the ‘90s), paint too many Warhammer models, and get a little too into organizing my toolbox. I like working with my hands, fixing things, and helping people move from stuck to solved—whether it's a broken drawer slide or a messy website experience.
